WASHINGTON, D.C. (KDAL) - The U-S Senate has passed the Water Resources Reform and Development Act on a 91-7 vote sending it on to the President for his signature. The bill passed the House earlier in the week. The bill includes provisions to expand investments into the dredging of harbors on the Great Lakes, improves shipping infrastructure and provides measures to protect Minnesota waterways from invasive carp.
