DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Over 14 hundred area sixth graders will be participating in the 22nd Annual St. Louis River Quest this week. Students will divide into groups at 12 hands-on learning stations on board the Vista Star and at the DECC's Pioneer Hall. Topics covered include pollution prevention, stopping aquatic invaders, personal water safety and commercial shipping. River Quest began in 1993 to enhance the awareness of the interrelated commercial, industrial and recreational values of the harbor and St. Louis River estuary.
