SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - The planned closure of the Duluth bound lanes of the Bong Bridge on March 1st has been delayed until the 5th of May. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the bridge project will be getting underway as scheduled but it will require just single lane closures in each direction for the first two months. The westbound lanes will then close until November this year and the eastbound lanes are expected to be closed during the 2015 construction season. The DTA is also postponing the Bong Bridge detour for their buses until May.
