DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The parts of two lawsuits that would force the Diocese of Duluth to release documents detailing child sexual abuse cases have been thrown out by a judge. The ruling says the plaintiffs can still purse charges that the diocese was negligent in its handling of the abuse cases. The attorney for the plaintiff, Mike Finnegan, says he is disappointed in the ruling but it will not significantly affect the law firm's strategy going forward.
