UNDATED (KDAL) - According to the International Lake Superior Board of Control, the water level of Lake Superior declined 0.4 inches in February which puts the level at the long term average for the beginning of March. It is also up by about 13 inches from the level of last year at this time. The Lake Superior level is expected to continue its seasonal decline in March. The levels of Lakes Michigan and Huron are still 13 inches below the long term average but are up 13 inches from a year ago.
