(WNFL)- After a day off yesterday, the Green Bay Packers return to the field this morning for their fourth Training Camp practice. Third-year corner Casey Hayward has been one of the stand-outs on defense so far. He had six interceptions and 25 pass break-ups as a rookie -- but he struggled with repeated hamstring injuries a year ago, when he only had 87 snaps. This past winter, Hayward underwent a "dry needling" process that helped release scar tissue. He has also paid more attention to his hamstrings in the weight room. Last year, Hayward injured a hammie in personal workouts just before Training Camp. The same thing happened in a late August exhibition against Seattle, and last November against Philadelphia. His treatments have given Hayward a new infusion of confidence, saying he knows what kind of value he can give to the Packers.
