DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Housing and Redevelopment Authority has completed the purchase of the Seaway Hotel in Duluth is now preparing for major renovations to upgrade the property for the 60 residents. The HRA has teamed up with Center City Housing for property management and CHUM will provide supportive services for the residents. The keys were turned over following the completion of legal work and funding from the City of Duluth through the Duluth Economic Development Agency (DEDA). HRA Executive Director Rick Ball says the acquisition is the beginning of the revitalization process for the Lincoln Park business district and neighborhood.
