ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - Because of the dangerously cold weather predicted for Monday, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has decided to close all of the state's K-12 public schools on that day. The National Weather Service says the state will experience the coldest weather in a decade on Monday with lows reaching 30 below and wind chills approaching 50 below zero in many areas. In making the decision, the Governor says "the safety of Minnesota school children must be our first priority."
