DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Duluth firefighters battled a blaze in a commercial building at 211 East 2nd Street early Wednesday morning. The building is home to 3 occupants including a Chippewa Indian Outreach Center, a microbrewery operation and Johnson's Auto Repair. The fire was mainly confined to the auto repair shop in the center of the building but there was smoke damage throughout the building. The Duluth Fire Department had 22 personnel on the scene and also had help from the Air Guard Fire Department and the U-S Border Patrol. One firefighter had a minor shoulder injury. The cause of the fire is under investigation and damages are estimated in excess of 150 thousand dollars.
