DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The City of Duluth has been awarded a 250 thousand dollar Great Lakes Restoration Grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to help improve the water quality in Lake Superior. The announcement of grant was made by Region Five Administrator Susan Hedman at the Lake Superior Zoo which is the location of one of the projects the grant will help fund. The other two projects are the work at the former Atlas Cement Plant and Chambers Grove Park.
