DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The City of Duluth is beginning a trial installation of parking pay stations in a one block stretch of 300 West Superior Street. Starting Thursday, those parking in that block will pay at one of three pay stations. The pay stations accept coins, dollar bills and major credit and debit cards. The parking cost and time limits are the same as the downtown metered spaces, 25 cents per 20 minutes to a maximum of one dollar for 80 minutes. Parkers using the new system are urged to complete a brief survey at duluthparking.com to provide feedback to the city. The trial period will last for four months and then be evaluated for possible expansion.
