Jet Powered Bi-Plane To Be Featured At Duluth Air Show

DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Another first for the Duluth Air Show this summer will be a 1929 bi-plane with a jet engine attached to its belly.  The one of a kind airplane is called the "Jack Link Screamin' Sasquatch" and is being unveiled this year around the country by John Klatt Airshows.  Duluth will be the only stop for the plane in the midwest and will be kind of a homecoming.  Klatt is a 24 year veteran of the Minnesota Air National Guard and flew F-16's with the 148th in Duluth.  Jack Link's Beef Jerky began in Minong, Wisconsin.  Over a dozen other performers and the Navy Blue Angels will be joining the lineup at the Duluth Airshow scheduled for August.  Get more info at duluthairshow.com
