ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - State Senator Roger Reinert from Duluth will become a Hamline University Law School student on August 16th. Reinert says he is very interested in constitutional law and will use a degree to advance his teaching career and enhance his abilities to serve the public. Besides being a State Senator, Reinert is a political science faculty member at Lake Superior College. He will be taking a leave of absence from that job to ensure a successful start at law school and says it will not affect his work in the legislature.. Reinert says the JD program at Hamline is a weekend program that will take roughly four years to complete.
