DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A low pressure system will move across the northland bringing a mixture of rain and snow to the area Thursday night. It is expected to change to all snow over northern Minnesota and the Arrowhead and some accumulating snow could extend as far south as the Iron Range and Twin Ports areas. The International Falls, Ely and Hibbing region along with areas of the north shore including Silver Bay and Two Harbors could see 5 to 7 inches of snow by Friday morning. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect there from noon Thursday to 7 a-m Friday. Further north, a Winter Storm Warning for 8 to 11 inches of snow has been posted for portions of Cook and northern Lake Counties.
