DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The most recent spring storm left varying snow totals across the northland as it moved out of the area on Thursday morning. Northwest Wisconsin got the prize for the highest amounts with nearly 17 inches in Grantsburg and 15 inches recorded in Minong and Ashland. Pine City in Minnesota also had a 15 inch total. Around the Twin Ports, there was 11 inches in Superior, Lincoln Park saw 8 inches and the National Weather Service measured 7.2 inches at their Duluth Airport location. Most major streets and highways have been plowed and treated but lesser traveled roads and side streets remained snow covered and slippery on Thursday.
