UNDATED (KDAL) - Skies are expected to be clear in the Twin Ports area for the lunar eclipse or "blood moon" that will occur early on Tuesday morning.  The moon is expected to pass completely into the shadow of the earth just after 2 a-m and the total eclipse will last about 80 minutes.  It is called a "blood moon" because the eclipse will leave the moon a reddish color.  Another lunar eclipse visible in North America will be later this year on October 8th.
