WASHINGTON, D.C. (KDAL) - Congressman Rick Nolan has announced a 2.1 million dollar grant from the U-S Department of Transportation for reconstruction and maintenance of the Range Regional Airport. Nolan, a member of the House Aviation Subcommittee, says the grant will fund realignment of an airport taxiway and the relocation of the existing fuel farm. The multi-year grant provides 1.8 million during fiscal year 2013 with the rest in 2014. Nolan says the Range Regional Airport is critical in efforts to promote jobs, tourism and economic development on the Iron Range.
