DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - In a letter to other councilors Friday, the 4th District's Garry Krause says he will resign his council position in two weeks. Krause tells KDAL news he is accepting a new job that will not allow him to devote enough time to his council duties. His term expires in January and Krause is not sure whether the council will appoint someone to fill the remaining months of his term or not. Krause says he is proud of the work he did for the people of his district and it was a very difficult decision to leave the council.
