DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Citizens and business owners turned out Tuesday night to provide input into plans to rebuild Superior Street in 2016. It was the first of six planned meetings to get public input for the project. Many business owners remember the last time the street was torn up and the bricks were put in. It was a difficult time for merchants, but not impossible as side avenues were kept open. Duluth City Administrator David Montgomery says they hope to make this project a model for others to follow in the future.
