SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - The Superior City Council has approved a plan to remove 3 thousand ash trees from street boulevards over the next 6 years. The city will eventually replace the trees with a variety of other species at a cost of around 70 thousand dollars. Some ash trees have already been removed after the confirmation of the Emerald Ash Borer that results in the death of the tree.
