UNDATED (KDAL) - The Minnesota State Patrol and nearly 400 other law enforcement agencies around the state will be increasing their patrols during the "Click It or Ticket" seat belt campaign October 4th through the 19th. In the last 3 years on Minnesota roads, there were 852 traffic fatalities and 42 percent of them were not buckled up. Drivers and all passengers are required to be wearing seat belts and children are supposed to be in the correct child restraints for their age. The State Patrol says the odds are six times greater for injury in a crash if you're not buckled up.
