DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - An estimated 5 thousand Thanksgiving Day meals will be served free of charge by volunteers at the DECC in Duluth from 11 a-m to 4 p-m on Thursday. The annual event has also expanded to serve meals in Carlton at the Street Car Kitchen, in Cloquet at Zion Lutheran Church and in Two Harbors at the Moose Lodge. Those locations will be open from 11 a-m to 2 p-m. Deliveries will also be made to the home bound who signed up in the Twin Ports. The DTA, thanks to a generous donation from the National Bank of Commerce, is providing free bus service throughout the day as well as special shuttles from several locations directly to and from the DECC. The annual buffet is organized by the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth.
