DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - As part of the Glensheen Mansion and UMD civic engagement series, a forum that looks at "Criminology - Then and Now" is being held Tuesday night at 7 p-m. The speakers will be Duluth Police Chief Gordon Ramsay, St. Louis County Sheriff Ross Litman and 6th District Court Judge John DeSanto. Chief Ramsay and Sheriff Litman will talk about modern criminology in the Twin Ports will Judge DeSanto will address his role in the double homicide case of Elisabeth Congdon and Velma Pietila back in 1977. DeSanto is also co-author of the book "Will To Murder" which details the crime and the trials surrounding the Glensheen killings. The forum is being held at Glensheen, 3300 London Road, and is free and open to the public. Books will also be for sale at the event.
