DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Duluth City Council has voted to go ahead with the process of creating two new dog parks in the central and eastern parts of the city. The current choices for the parks would be Russell Square and Observation Park. Some residents in those neighborhoods were not happy with the idea. There will be a series of community meetings to talk about the process of creating the dog parks. At this time, Duluth has only one dog park located at Keene Creek in the western part of town.
