ORR, MN (KDAL) - An Indiana man was injured Friday in an ATV accident on a private trail near Orr. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office Responded to the incident that happened at 4:00 PM. Thirty-eight-year-old Andrew Carr was heading back to his hunting camp to get parts for a deer stand when ice and snow on the trail made him lose control of the ATV. According to deputies, Carr was thrown into the trees and hit his head on a stump. He was transported to a nearby hospital with severe injuries including broken ribs, a broken clavicle, and a punctured lung. He underwent emergency surgery and is currently in the ICU in stable but serious condition. According to officials, weather caused the crash and alcohol was not a factor.
