DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth has begun construction of their new "Shipwrecks Alive!" exhibit. The new exhibit will replace the "Masters of Disguise" display that closed after a three year run. The new 423 thousand dollar exhibit is being constructed in the Sandra and Roger Karon Exhibit Hall and is scheduled to open by July of next year. "Shipwrecks Alive!" is funded by a grant from the Minnesota Legacy Fund and 50 thousand dollars in matching funds from the City of Duluth tourism tax.
