UNDATED (KDAL) - The Minnesota DNR has lifted the remaining restrictions on open burning. A statewide green up combined with recent precipitation has eased the critical fire danger from previous weeks. Permits for open burning will be available across the state but local areas, especially in the northern parts of the state, may have specific regulations or restrictions that will affect burning operations. Open burning laws include keeping burn piles small, have a water supply nearby and stay with the fires until they're completely out.
