DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Ryan Stauber has announced his candidacy for an At-Large seat on the Duluth City Council. Ryan is the son of current City Councilor Jim Stauber who has not yet decided if he is seeking re-election. Dan Hartman has recently said he will not run again for his At-Large council seat. Ryan Stauber is an Emergency Communications Specialist with St. Louis County and ran unsuccessfully for the Duluth School Board in 2011. In his news release, Stauber says he is an advocate of "people first" governance and hopes to provide the same "stabilizing, respected force" that his father brought to the city over the last 12 years.
