ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - The Minnesota Senate has voted 37-30 to pass a bill that legalizes same sex marriage in the state. The House approved the measure last week and Governor Mark Dayton will sign the bill into law in a ceremony on Tuesday at 5 p-m on the Capitol Steps. The state will then become the 12th in the country to allow same sex marriages.
