DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Duluth resident and former fighter pilot with the Tuskegee Airmen of World War Two, Joe Gomer, will speak at Tuesday's St. Louis County Board meeting. Gomer, who was invited to speak by Commissioner Chris Dahlberg, will share his experiences in the segregated Army Air Corp unit that flew missions in North Africa and Italy. Dahlberg says Joe Gomer is an American hero and it will be an honor to welcome him to the meeting and listen to his story. The meeting starts at 9:30 a-m Tuesday in the St. Louis County Courthouse in Duluth.
