DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A newly refurbished, 69-year-old steam locomotive will be pulling into the Duluth Depot today, hauling about 500 people from the Twin Cities in vintage coaches, lounge and dome cars to help celebrate National Train Day. The arrival of the Milwaukee Road's number 261 is part of a weekend full of activities at the North Shore Scenic Railroad. Those include a sold-out Saturday evening dinner train and a Mother's Day train ride at noon Sunday for which tickets are still available. More information is available at northshorescenicrailroad.org.
