DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Although it was late arriving this year, the annual spring thaw has left many Duluth city hiking, snowmobile and cross country trails soft and vulnerable to possible damage by ruts and erosion. The city is asking everyone to stay off the trails until warmer temperatures and drier weather improves their conditions. Trails that remain open to the public at this time are the Lakewalk, the Munger Trail and the Western Waterfront Trail.
