DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A new exhibit at Veterans Memorial Hall that honors Major Henry Courtney, a Duluthian who was posthumously presented with the Medal of Honor, opens with a reception Tuesday at 5:30 p-m. The exhibit describes Courtney's life in Duluth, where he was known as the "blonde giant" at Duluth Central High School, to his experiences as a Marine Major in the Pacific Theater of World War Two. The event, in the Great Hall of the Depot, is free and open to the public.
