DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The first of May is not a formally recognized holiday in the U-S but it is celebrated in over 80 countries at International Workers Day. A coalition of labor, community non profits and local activists have put together the first ever Duluth May Day Festival from noon to 9 p-m at the Washington Center at 301 North 1st Avenue West. Events will include a parade at 5 p-m with a dinner to follow and a May Pole Dance at 7 with an introduction by Duluth Mayor Don Ness.
