DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A program to help expand the number of urban trees in Duluth is underway. Re-Leaf Duluth will provide affordable trees for boulevard planting if homeowners take responsibility for watering during the first two years. The trees cost 25 dollars and will be planted by city crews. The city will also provide stakes and mulch. Trees can now be ordered for spring planting on the city's website duluthmn.gov/parks/re-leaf. Trees ordered after June 1st will be planted in the fall.
