SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - Dr. Richard Stewart, the Chair of the Department of Business and Economics and Director of the Transportation and Logistics Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, has been named to the Great Lakes Advisory Board of the U-S Environmental Protection Agency. Professor Stewart, appointed to a two year term, is one of 18 on the board that will help advise the EPA on spending 300 million dollars in protecting and restoring the Great Lakes for future generations. Stewart is also co-director of the Great Lakes Maritime Research Institute and was a Captain in the U-S Naval Reserve.
