DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - An off duty Duluth Police Officer is being investigated for a hit and run in the parking lot at Mitch's Bar and Grill, 2113 West Superior Street last Thursday.  According to the initial investigation, 50 year old Brian Jones twice backed his car into an unoccupied parked car.  When police arrived, Jones had left the scene but his damaged vehicle was still there.  Jones, with the Police Department since 1998, has been placed on administrative leave.
