UNDATED (KDAL) - The Department of Natural Resources is reminding ice anglers in northeastern Minnesota that ice shelters on lakes north of Highway 2 need to be removed no later than midnight on March 18th.  For the Minnesota-Canada border waters the deadline is March 31 or earlier if ice conditions warrant.  Those who do not remove the shelter by the deadline can be prosecuted and officers can remove, confiscate or destroy the shelters.
