SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - A series of open house meetings are being held in Wisconsin to present plans by the Department of Agriculture to deal with the spread of gypsy moths. Selected areas will be sprayed in the state including over 35 thousand acres in Douglas County and more than 9 thousand acres within the City of Superior. An open house meeting is being held in Superior from 2 to 4 p-m on Thursday in the Superior Public Library Classroom. Those attending will find out more about the destructive gypsy moth and can view maps of the planned spray areas. More information can also be found at gypsymoth.wi.gov
