DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Salvation Army food shelf use is up 45 percent over a year ago while some funding sources for food have been cut back or eliminated completely. Most of the people served by the food shelf are children and more seniors are also using the program than in the past. During the March Food Share Drive, the Salvation Army will also receive a proportional donation from the statewide effort. Monetary donations can be made to the Salvation Army at 215 South 27th Avenue West in Duluth.
