CARLTON, MN (KDAL) - The Carlton County Sheriff's Office has arrested 24-year-old Paul Duane Mrosla in connection with an armed robbery at Tall Pines Liquors in Carlton. The robbery took place about 10 p.m. last night. According to a sheriff's office news release, deputies received a call from the clerk, who reported being approached by a male with a knife and was told, "this is a robbery give me the money." The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled. After an investigation, deputies located Mrosla at a Carlton residence, where they took him into custody without incident. He was booked on charges of aggravated robbery, second-degree assault and terroristic threats, and will remain in the Carlton County Jail pending formal charges from the county attorney.
