DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The National Weather Service in Duluth is advising that some ice and snow accumulation coming with today's storm will cause travel difficulties and reduced visibility. The service has issued a winter weather advisory until 7 a.m. Sunday for most of the Northland and northern Wisconsin. A wintery mix of snow and rain is expected through morning, transitioning into all snow this afternoon. Duluth could see anywhere from 3 to 7 inches, with potentially more north and west of the Twin Ports. Northern Wisconsin should see an inch or two of accumulation. Ice accumulation is expected south of Hwy. 2 across east-central Minnesota and much of Wisconsin. Officials urge caution on roadways.
