ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - Those participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are being encouraged by the Minnesota Department of Human Services to eat healthier. SNAP Plus recipients who purchase five dollars or more of fresh fruits or vegetables with their EBT cards at Super One Stores in Duluth and other participating groceries around the state, will receive a 5 dollar coupon toward another purchase of fresh produce. The pilot program is running in Minnesota through September 30th.
