DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The man severely injured in a hit and run on I-35 near Hinckley last week has now died. The family of 24 year old Trevor Langlois say he was removed from life support after his condition deteriorated. The driver of the vehicle that hit Langlois is still being sought by authorities.
In another hit and run incident last week, prosecutors say the former Duluth man who was arrested after a long chase, may have intentionally hit and killed janitor Greg Blackburn at a rest stop in Carlton County. 55 year old Gregory Scherber is charged with criminal vehicular homicide and running from police but more serious charges are possible based on witness statements that Blackburn appeared to have been run over on purpose.
