CLOQUET, MN (KDAL) - With funding for small-town necessities hanging in the balance of a Washington farm bill, a local think tank will host a discussion about the value of USDA money to small towns in Minnesota. Administrators from Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital and members of the think tank Minnesota 20-20 will convene at the Cloquet hospital Monday morning to highlight the need for continuing USDA Rural Development dollars for the Northland. The hospital is an example of what that USDA money brings to small towns, as it is nearing completion of a $28 million expansion, $24 million of which came from the USDA program. The event starts at 10 a.m.
