DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The "Water Contact Not Recommended" advisory for the Boy Scout Landing Beach in Duluth has been removed after the latest test showed that bacteria in the water has returned to acceptable levels. The beach in New Duluth on Commonwealth Avenue was posted by the Minnesota Department of Health on Tuesday. The Lake Superior Beach Monitoring Program tests the water at beaches from Duluth up the north shore of Lake Superior through the summer months.
