ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - A compromise has been reached between the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and bear researcher Lynn Rogers. The agreement, reached with the help of a Ramsey County judge, allows Rogers to keep radio collars on ten bears but he will have to stop hand feeding the bears and stop the webcasts from inside the dens. The DNR wanted Rogers to be able to continue his research while protecting the public. They felt the bears were getting too comfortable with humans.
