TWO HARBORS, MN (KDAL) - 8th District Congressman Rick Nolan has announced a 906 thousand dollars grant for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to administer its coastal management program for Lake Superior. The grant also leverages 840 thousand dollars in state, local and private funds and comes from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Nolan says the funds will go toward creating and supporting jobs that underpin critical coastal projects such as storm-water and water quality management.
