ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - The Ely black bear researcher, Lynn Rogers, has filed a lawsuit against the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The DNR did not renew permits that allowed Rogers to put radio collars on bears and to film them with internet cameras in their dens. Earlier this week Governor Dayton declined to overturn the DNR decision and Rogers is now asking the court to allow his research to continue.
