DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - One of the scheduled ten tall ships due into Duluth this week has cancelled its appearance. The two masted schooner "Halie & Matthew" ran into a storm and suffered a lightning strike and fire on the way to Duluth. There were no injuries but repairs would not be complete in time to finish the voyage to Duluth. Most of the day sail passengers will be re-directed to other vessels. The Duluth Tall Ship Festival begins with a Grand Parade under the Aerial Bridge on Thursday afternoon.
